Summer marches on

Today the weather has turned hot and sunny again as we pass the middle of July. This means that I am getting ready for camp and for furlough in less that 30 days. WOW! As you can SEE, the Lord is continuing to bless us through your prayers and generous giving to continue the construction on the Ciumeghiu Children's room. Another $1000 was received recently and we expect that this new gift will finish the walls. Praise the Lord! Last week we had an all time high of 70 kids in class with 65 of them under the age of 8 yrs olds!!! It was a ZOO, but God strengthened me and provided helpers for the lesson time. Please continue to pray for the classroom project that it will be finished by winter time. Pray this week for the 8 children going to camp! I will be taking 5 boys and 3 girls to Tabara Bucuriei (Camp Joy) this week for their Junior week for ages 11-13 (4 from Gepiu and 4 from Ciumeghiu). Pray that the Lord will move their hearts for them to make personal decisions to follow Jesus Christ in day to day living. Later on July 30th, I will be taking 12 teens from Gepiu to camp. We will join our fellow Rom churches and my coworker Felicia Oana in Buteni for a week of camp. 5 Americans will be joining us and helping in every way to provide a great week of camp where these kids can grow spiritually. Please pray for the teens as well as the American team who is generously giving of their time and money to work with us. This week of camp was a change from my original plans, but we are all thrilled to be attending camp with our sister churches. Thank you for all your prayers as things stay busy and I prepare to come see you. I'm very excited to better show you what God has been doing in our lives together here in Romania. May His name be praised in all we say and do. Kim
