Ciumeghiu "Classroom"

Hello Everyone! I thought I would post a picture of us having class in the area where we will be building the Ciumeghiu Classroom that was talked about in the last Kapor update letter. The foundation is complete and we hope to soon start building up when it is financially possible. Please pray for us to have faith to move forward little by little trusting God will provide. I also would like to ask you to pray about the following 3 urgent situations.
1)
The political situation here in Romania is not great. As some of you may know the President has been suspended by the Parliament and has been accused of things which have not been proven. We don’t foresee any civil unrest in Romania but on the other hand it would be nice to have this problem taken care of quickly.
2) Last Wednesday, some men attacked an Evangelical publisher and NT distributing office in Malatya, Turkey where I have missionary friends. 3 believers were ruthlessly killed and 2 more were injured. Two were Turkish believers and one was a German worker there. They left behind 5 kids in all and one was just engaged to be married, so pray for these families. Pray also for the small and already struggling Christian fellowship in that city, that instead of falling apart at this, it would pull together with a fire and intensity for God. On Friday, they held the funeral for the German brother, Tilman. It was a great witness to some neighbors and friends who came and to the dozens of police and press, to see the peace, joy and assurance with which all laid him to rest. Ahmet, the church leader who led the graveside service, afterward remarked how only the blood of these saints could have purchasde such an open chance to share who our Saviour is and what our life purpose is on national prime-time television. The wives of both Tilman and Necati have been incredibly calm and clear in interviews with the press. Praise the Lord! Also continue to pray for the church in Turkey to take real lessons from these men, and press on with an even greater 'abandon' to Christ, fearlessly spreading the Good News.
3)
Also this past Wednesday, Rev. Tim Gelatt, our BMM Midwest Representative, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After immediately seeing two physicians it was determined that a biopsy would be scheduled for Wednesday, April 25. The results of this procedure will give his doctors direction as to what means of treatment should be prescribed. Please pray that the loving sovereignty of God will be of great comfort to the Gelatt family during this ordeal. All for Him, Kim.

Thanks, Kim, for the update! I check once in a while for a small peek into your world.

The kids loved seeing the picture of you teaching (when you click the picture it enlarges). It makes the foreign mission field more real (and less mysterious) to them!

We will be praying for the families listed in your prayer requests. We will also pray for those who hurt and kill the people of God. Their only hope of change is the Gospel and they are ultimately part of God's sovereign plan (demonstrated by the opportunities it has provided for the families to glorify God).
