A New Year!

We trust you had a wonderful Holiday season and are enjoying a new year with our Great God! We have many praises from the last few weeks:

1) Claudia taught her first bible lesson and it went great! Continue to pray for her as we continue learning and preparing other lessons.

2) The Ciumeghiu classroom is usable! This picture was taken in the new classroom. The concrete walls are still drying out and furniture and flooring are needed, but we are thrilled to see what God has done so far.

3) My parents visit and my engagement dinner were a great joy! My parents arrived on December 31st to participate in Marcel and my engagement dinner on Saturday, January 3rd. We had a wonderful time with both our families as well as two pastors and their families. Thank you for your continued prayers as we prepare to serve the Lord together.

4) More people reached! 2 souls came to Christ over the Holidays and there were about 10 new people at the Ciumeghiu church this Sunday. Some from a nearby village and others who haven't come to church in years. Praise the Lord that He is still in the business of moving hearts and changing lives. Continue to pray that the Lord will draw people to Himself.

5) New coworkers arrive! Tomorrow I head to Timisoara to welcome coworkers Luke and Kim Warner to Romania. Now we have 2 families studying the Romanian language in Timisoara and 2 more families finishing deputation in the States. We are all excited about what the Lord has in store for the Baptist Mid Missions Romania team. Pray with us that God will show His will for our team in the future. Have a wonderful blessed week. Kim
