Furlough Adventures

Hello from Wisconsin! The last 2 months have been great as I've been travelling around visiting churches, friends and family sharing ministry and personal news. I have enjoyed Wisconsin cheese and cranberries as well as the beautiful fall colors. Thank you all for prayers as I have been doing A LOT of driving. God has been with me and protected me and my vehicle (a purple PT Cruiser very approriately suited to my personality). Thank you also to everyone who has given special gifts (loaner car, cell phone, gas cards, offerings) to help with this furlough visit. They have all been a great blessing to me. It has been fun, not only to visit churches, but speak in a Christian school, a Public school (picture above) and 2 AWANA clubs. The kids really enjoy hearing about the Rom/Gypsy children and it makes me long to get back "to work." I will be leaving the US on Monday, November 10th. Please pray with me about the work ahead in Romania as I train Claudia to be the new children's teacher in Ciumeghiu and we strive to finish the classroom building. I believe that about $3000 is needed to finish this classroom. I know that we are all in tough financial times, but our God has NOT changed!
