Another summer gone
Summer has flown by with a flurry of activities. Thank you for your prayers for all the VBS weeks and Camp. We averaged 80 children each day at VBS with a record number of 114 children on the last day of the Ciumeghiu VBS. A total of 56 of us went to camp and had a wonderful week studying Romans 12 & 13 learning how to be a living sacrifice for God. MOST of the children made decisions! They either accepted Christ as Saviour or decided to give up their own will and live as a sacrifice for God. It was an amazing week! Now I racing around getting ready for a 3 month furlough in the U.S. I will leave August 22nd and return to Romania on December 2nd. Please pray for safe travel and strength as I visit my Northern WI supporting churches and other faithful supporters. Below is my furlough schedule. I can't wait to see each of you face to face. We can't wait to see you!
Hey Kim! Not sure if you would remember us or not, but my husband and I remember you from MBBC. I just found your blog via Heather Mitchell's and I wanted to say hello because we were in Romania this summer for a week, staying with the Finks when you were gone. We were sorry not to be able to say hello. I think we left the day you got home. I recognize a few kids from this group picture...it's so fun to see a picture like this and recognize faces!!! And of course Stephen and Lori. Well, anyways, God bless. Enjoy your furlough! If you come over by Mishawaka, IN, stop by!
