Spiritual Growth

The month of May has flown by and every day has brought special blessings from God. Thanks to God for wisdom, strength and spiritual growth in church leaders. Just this last week, I finally realized how much the National men and women in church leadership have grown during these last two months. I have seen men effectively use the Sword of the Lord to fight The Evil One and protect their flocks. I have seen women seek for answers to life in the Book of Life with the minimal reading ability they have. Nationals are leading their own churches: the goal of every church planting team. Praise be to God! As the extra craziness has slowed down, I have once again started tutoring Claudia (middle of picture) in reading, writing and comprehension. I am thrilled to see her progress despite recent lapses in tutoring time. She feels inadequate to become a teacher in the church, but has the desire. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen Claudia to understand His Word and learn to effectively teach others.

I want to personally thank everyone who has given special financial gifts in response to my recent prayer letter. $1750 has been given to the Ciumeghiu construction project reducing our need to about $3500. Money also has been given so I can replace my computer and other needed equipment. Thank you for your love shown through your generosity. I praise the Lord that I can be your outstretched hands to people in Romania and will now be able to continue to show you how the Lord is working. May His name be lifted higher by each word we say and each step we take. Kim
