One soul at a time!

Just wanted to ask you to pray for Pam a lady that is occasionally attending the Ladies class. Today she prayed for the first time out loud asking for God's presence and blessing on her family. She seems close to accepting Christ as Saviour especially as she deals with some family problems at this time. May the Lord draw her to Him self. The Visa situation is still unresolved, but I have peace that God is handling it. May He be praised for His sovereignty and my best interest in mind. Kim Jeremiah 29:11

On January 1, 2007, Romania officially entered the European Union. It was a loud celebration across the country as we welcomed the New Year with fireworks, shouting, singing and praying. May the Lord grant us another year of mercy to learn to serve Him. Last week, Maranatha Baptist Church (Romanian church plant in Oradea) celebrated the salvation of 2 souls and a record number of 9 ladies attended the Ciumeghiu Ladies Bible study. What an exciting start to a new year! Please pray especially for my Visa situation. When I called today to see if my file had been completed, I found out that the director is on vacation until February 1st so nothing has been done. My visa expires quicker so God moved the heart of the director's assistant and when she heard this dilemma she offered to call the director on her cell phone and see if she can finish my file by next week. Please pray that the director will finish my Visa letter and grant me a 5 year visa so I can continue to teach God's word to the hungry Rom people of Romania. May the name of Jesus be lifted higher.
