The building is complete!!

It was with great joy that on Sunday, April 12th, we celebrated the opening of the new church building along with the baptism of 8 people. The mayor of Ciumeghiu came to cut the ribbon and officially open the building that will be used for church, children's and women's classes as well as possibly other activities like literacy classes. After more than 2 years of moving forward in faith with hardwork and gracious financial gifts from our US friends (more like family! :), God blessed this little church in Ciumeghiu with a new strong beautiful building that will hopefully last for many years to come. The mayor was quite touched by the turnout of more than 200 people and expressed his desire to help the Rom/Gypsy community to rise to the living standards of their Romanian neighbors. We are very thankful for the good relationship Pastor Nastase and the church has with the mayor and hope to also share with him our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, our US brothers and sisters in Christ, for your constant prayers, love and support that has helped bring this construction project to completion. Kim
